Go Mutoh (武藤 剛, Mutō Gō) is a 7[1][2]-year-old boy and son of Koichiro Mutoh and Mari Mutoh. He loves playing online video games and dreams one day to participate in the Olympics through E-Sports. He dreams one day to move to an IT advanced country like Estonia.

Appearance[]

Go is a young boy with medium long brown hair, thick eyebrows and olive skin. He is half Japanese and half Filipino.

Plot[]

Go is playing with his handheld console under the table and doesn't even realize there is an earthquake until his lunch falls on the ground, but tell his friends in the game that he is okay. When a second more destructive earthquake occurs, he is hit by debris and starts bleeding. He recalls what his father told him and goes outside.

He is later taken to a shrine on a hill by Nanami Miura, who had found him at their house and bandages him as he was bleeding from both eyes. Koichiro Mutoh takes off his bandages and sees that only his eyelids are cut and comments that due to his gaming reflexes, Go manages to avoid something worse. Koichiro Mutoh then patches him with a stapler, making Ayumu Mutoh comment that it looks like piercing. Mari Mutoh then comes and happy that they are all alive and well, they take a picture together.

Etymology[]

  • The name Go means "sturdy, robust, tough, strength" (剛).
  • Go's surname Mutoh means "military, martial" (武) (mu) and "wisteria" (藤) (toh).
